Originally designed and built in 1953 by prominent Delray architect Sam Ogren, Jr., this 5 bedroom 3.1 bath gem was completely gutted and rebuilt, like new in 2018. This gorgeous home was literally redone from top to bottom with 400 tons of cement poured for the new foundation, walls and leveling of the floors. The list of refinements are far too many to list. All new electric was installed with safe and durable underground power lines, high-end programmable switches, dimmable recessed lighting, a 6-camera monitoring system, the list goes on. A direct gas line was also run to efficiently power the washer/dryer, tank-less water heater, Wolf stove, spa heater, and whole-house generator that provides backup power should an outage occur. A Doorbird entry system with front door camera and remote unlocking, smart features like wall-mounted iPads to control various systems and pool equipment, a remote-operated gas fireplace in the living area, 3-zone AC with Nest programmable thermostats and more make this home extremely comfortable and state-of-the-art. On to the more glamorous upgrades, beautiful Brazilian Pecan engineered wood floors spill throughout, enriching the ambience of the expansive open-concept layout. The chefs kitchen is a custom work of art with sleek cabinetry, decorative tile backsplash, an enormous prep, storage and dining island, and premium Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances with an 18" wine fridge. The luxurious master bath is graced by top-of-the-line appointments with a dual-head rain shower and steam mist operator with a scented oil reservoir for a spa experience. For the car lover, the two car garage is customized for to allow for lifts in the future to accommodate 4 cars. The location is superior, near blissful sandy beaches and vibrant downtown Atlantic Avenue. A convenient park across the street has walking trails, a boat launch and childrens playground.
