117 Florida Ave, Coral Gables

NEW CONSRUCTION! Brand new, never been lived in. In Coral Gables historic MacFarlane Homestead a charming Bahamian Key West style home was required by the Coral Gables Historic Preservation Board to be precisely and faithfully duplicated in new construction, top to bottom in 2025. The exterior was required to match the original 1930s structure, but the interior is 2025 modern with open floor plan and brand-new kitchen and baths. The MacFarlane Homestead Historic District in Coral Gables is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and thus designated properties may qualify for federal and local tax credits. While this home does not qualify for historic tax credits because it is new construction according to the Coral Gables Historic Preservation Department, it does benefit from the tax breaks offered in the District (especially to investors who invest in income producing properties) which have brought about significant revitalization and investment to the area. This charming home offers 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, an open living room, eat-in kitchen, separate laundry room, impact windows/doors and a roomy open front porch. Prime Coral Gables location adjacent to the Metrorail station, Coral Gables business district, Merrick Park, Trader Joes and to the most popular Coconut Grove restaurant and shopping venues. This home offers the advantages of new construction with all the charm and character of an historic home with a Coral Gables address next door to Coconut Grove.
