Meridian Lofts is the kind of Miami Beach building that feels modern and easy to live in. Built in 2005, it’s only 6 stories tall, so it has more of a laid-back, “neighborhood” vibe instead of that busy high-rise feeling. It was designed by Zyscovich Architects, and the lobby—done by Allison Spears—looks polished and stylish the moment you walk in.
The residences are mostly one- and two-bedroom lofts with an open, clean layout. What really stands out inside are the tall 12-foot ceilings and the floor-to-ceiling windows that make the space feel bright and airy. Depending on the unit, you’ll catch views of the city skyline and even the Miami Beach Golf Course. The kitchens keep a sleek look too, with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, plus the basics you actually want every day—washer and dryer in the unit, air conditioning, high-speed internet, and cable-ready setup. Many homes also come with nice extras like hardwood or tile floors, walk-in closets, built-in shelves, and bedrooms that feel spacious.
Up on the roof, there’s a pool and Jacuzzi that’s perfect for cooling off after a long day or just hanging out on weekends. The building also has an exercise room, bike storage, landscaped garden areas, an on-site management office, and a 24-hour lobby attendant—so there’s always someone there if you need help or just want that added peace of mind.
Location is another big plus. Meridian Lofts sits at 2001 Meridian Avenue, close enough that you can walk to the beach, Publix, Lincoln Road, and the Miami Beach Convention Center. And when you’re driving out, you’re around 25 minutes from Miami International Airport, about 22 minutes to Bal Harbour Shops, roughly 35 minutes to Aventura Mall, and around 45 minutes to Fort Lauderdale Airport. Overall, it’s a great option if you want a clean loft style, a rooftop pool, and a spot in Miami Beach that’s convenient without feeling overwhelming.
