(2) (2) (2) (2)The Floridian is one of those South Beach buildings that instantly feels “Miami” the moment you pull up—right on Biscayne Bay, with big water views and the city skyline in the background. It’s located at 650 West Ave, just off the MacArthur Causeway, so you’re close to everything but still tucked into a quieter, more residential part of South Beach.
The building was finished in 1997 and later converted into condos. It stands 34 stories tall and has 334 homes in total, with 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom layouts. Most units feel bright and open, with floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors that let the view do the talking. You also get a private balcony (perfect for morning coffee or sunset views), plus in-unit washer and dryer, which is a real bonus in Miami Beach. Sizes range from about 840 to 1,372 sq. ft., not counting the balcony space.
What makes The Floridian stand out is the lifestyle. You’ve got a bayfront pool for relaxing, a heated lap pool if you actually want to swim, a hot tub, and even a BBQ area for weekends with friends. There’s also a gym, saunas and steam rooms, plus a tennis court and basketball court if you like staying active. Day-to-day is easy too, with concierge services, valet parking, 24-hour security, a business center, and even a small convenience store on-site.
And the location is honestly hard to beat. You can walk to Whole Foods, head over to Lincoln Road for shopping and dining, or be at the beach and South Beach nightlife in minutes. If you’re driving, Downtown Miami is only about 7 minutes away, the Design District is around 15 minutes, and the airport is roughly 30 minutes. Overall, The Floridian is a great fit if you want strong amenities, great views, and a South Beach location that feels both fun and practical.
